Up and Running Again

OK so we've been without our computer for several months. We finally got it all up and running today, so I am updating the blog with some highlights that have taken place over the last 8 months or so. Of course not everything is on here, just the most memorable for us. This was the last night in our house. We all slept on the floor cuz everything else was packed. This was a very emotional time for us, (especially me). We were so excited to move back to Utah, but we love our house and friends soooo much!!!

Bye House!

We went to the pumpkin patch. There was so much to do there; mazes, pumpkin princesses, seed spitting contests, pig races, pedal cars, monsters, life-sized Lincoln logs to build cabins, giant jumping pillows, inflatables, super slides, petting zoo, etc. You get the picture. SOOOOO much fun!!! We will always go, every year!

Of course it was Halloween. It's always been a really big deal in my family, so we threw a huge Halloween party. Adam and I were Asians and the Kids all wanted to be super heroes. We had a really good time!!!

Hiking Day

Adam and I went for a hike the other day. We wanted to climb up the only mountain in El Paso before we move, so we called our trusty babysitter and headed out. In this picture, you can see our destination in the back ground; the rock at the top of the mountain behind me.

Here Adam found a rock wall that he wanted to climb. It was so tricky. There were no grooves or cuts into the rock for him to grab on, just his tip toes and finger tips. It was pretty impressive that he made it to the top!

Here is our destination!!! So this is the most beautiful spot in all of El Paso. Glad that we got to the top to see it before we left.

Lost Teeth

Lydia's front teeth have been loose and hanging by a single fiber for days and days. She looked like Sponge bob. Last night the first one finally came out and then the other one fell out just as she was waking up this morning. I'm so glad. She has some resistance when it comes to her teeth, and so she doesn't work on getting them out. It drives me crazy. When I was a kid, I loved losing my teeth and couldn't leave them alone, blood or not. I pushed and pushed until I got them out, but Lydia is not that anxious. So we're all thrilled that they are out finally!!!

My Favorite Job in the Whole World

I can't believe how much I Love my kids!!! I know that they'll never fully get it until they grow up and have their own, but in the meantime, I pray that they have a strong sense of security and safety, and a foundation of love within our home. I'm so grateful that I get to be the mother of these amazing people!!!

Baking Day

The other day I made bread and they turned out so beautifully that I had to take pictures of the loaves. The kids saw that I had baked something beautiful and they wanted to make something beautiful too. So we made cupcakes.

AJ would just frost one, cover it in sprinkles and candy and then eat it. Yummy!!

Tate just demolished everything that he touched, but he was so cute doing it that I couldn't be mad; just laugh!

New Floor

Our upstairs bathroom floor has been flooded a couple of times, thanks to the 4 beautiful blessings from Heaven that we have. So the floor was warped and coming up around the edges. Needless to say it needed to be replaced. So Adam went to Home Depot and picked out tiles that he liked and got online and researched all about installing new floors, how to cut the tiles, how to water proof them, whether or not we should put grout in between the tiles, etc. Well anyway, long story short, he figured out just what he wanted to do, how to do it and then went to work. He did a beautiful job!!!! He is so talented when it comes to this kind of stuff. He just has this amazing ability to learn and apply right away. Anyway the floor looks amazing!!! All the cuts and edges are tight and sealed and fit perfectly together in every groove against the walls. Good job Babe!!! I'm so glad you're here taking such great care of us!!! I love you!!!
