Boats and the Beach

We just got back from our vacation in Montana. We have so many pictures, (thanks mostly to Ryan), that I couldn't get them all into one blog post. So I have decided to divide them up. Today is fun on/at the lake. Whitefish is so unbelieveably beautiful. We loved being on the boats the first day,(thanks Mom and Dad), and then the next day at City Beach. The kids had the time of their lives!

The kids dug a mote from the edge of the lake up to the sidewalk. It was quite an effort. The dam they built at the bottom was very good; quite an engineering masterpiece, but finally the water broke through right as we were leaving. So sad.

Father's Day, I love you Babe!!!

Here are our Father's Day pics. (I didn't get them posted earlier because we left for our vacation the day after.) I could never imagine a better father and daddy for my kids than Adam. I am so grateful the Lord blessed me with such a good man, who is so full of love and of the Spirit. He ALWAYS knows what is best for us and makes it so easy and enjoyable to follow his guidance and direction. I know that we are safe and secure as He leads our family. His desire is to do the Lord's will, and in that there is always safety. Thank you Adam, for your righteous desires and constant love that you give to me and our children. I love you!

We played "hot and cold" with Adam while he looked for his presents. He was so funny, pretending not to see the "in plain sight gifts" that were hiding around the room. He had the kids (especially Lydia) in hysterics because he "couldn't find them anywhere". He had us all laughing pretty hard! :-)





Adam loves to keep track of the kids heights and weights. So I made him a board to record the numbers on. I figured with me at 5'3" and him at 5'8" were probably safe at keeping the board 6 feet high. Of course we would love a surprise of growth from our boys.

Water Fun

So we love playing in the water at our house. We have a big hole in the back yard and the kids love to fill it up and play in the mud hole. This is especially Tate's favorite spot. We usually have the slip n slide out, but today they just wanted mud. Thought I would share some pictures of our afternoons in the sun!

Booty Dancin

The other night the kids were upstairs playing quietly. Usually when it's quiet it means they're up to something. Soon they flooded down and provided us with an hysterical show. They had stuffed clothes and stuffed animals in their underwear to give them ghetto booty and then danced for us. It was pretty funny. I love being a mom, just for these moments!



These are just a couple pics I took of the kids at the zoo. I know mom's are biased, but I seriously think my kids are the most beautiful things on this earth. I mean, look how freakin cute they are!!!

Easter

So even though we're a month late, here are our Easter pictures. We spent Easter with the Gonzales family. There is an Easter tradition here to hunt for confetti eggs. They are real eggs that are emptied and then filled with confetti and then taped back together. The eggs are hidden like normal, but then as the kids find them, they break them on each other's heads. I was very skeptical of this tradition that we were about to participate it. It sounded very silly to me. But then as we embarked upon our hunt and confetti began to fly, I have to say that it was the most fun that I have ever had on Easter. I LOVE this tradition!!! The kids were so cute running around with colored and sparkly confetti in their hair. We all had so much fun!!!! We will continue this tradition always, provided we live places where confetti eggs are available to buy, cuz there's no way that I am saving eggs all year long and making them myself.
